About WikiSneakers

WikiSneakers is a catalogue of sneakers sold at the store: running and walking shoes, court and training pairs, and everyday styles for men and women. Each entry shows what its seller wrote in the listing next to a price and the time it was read.

What we copy from a listing

Who a pair is for, what it is sold for, the cut at the ankle, whether it slips on and whether it comes wide are taken from the title the seller wrote. If a title says nothing about one of those, the cell stays blank here, and we never read it off a photo or from a sibling model. Sizes and colors are the seller's labels and are not interpreted.

No one has laced these up

We have not run, walked or stood in any of these shoes. That is why you will not find a verdict on cushioning, no ranking by how a shoe feels at the tenth mile and no claim that a pair prevents an injury. How a shoe fits your foot is for a size chart, owners' reviews and a try-on.

Every amount carries a time

A price beside a pair was read from the store and is printed with the time it was read. If it grows too old we remove it, because a stale number made to look current is worse than a gap. The store's page is where today's price is settled.

Guides and Learn

Our guides compare sneakers on listed details and price only. The Learn pages explain terms like heel drop, stability and arch support using podiatry and orthopedic bodies' pages, and the front page says how many sneakers we cover.
